As the photographer, I captured this moment just before the couple stepped into their car on the way to their matric farewell. I wanted to highlight the elegance and emotion of the evening. The red umbrella and dress created a powerful contrast against the night, while his protective stance shows confidence and care. Her expression says it all-grace, pride, and excitement. This wasn’t just a pretty photo; it was about capturing a once-in-a-lifetime moment where two young people step into a new chapter. Every detail tells their story.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I found my passion for photography in November last year when I started my YouTube channel. I bought my first camera with no idea where it would take me—I just knew I loved capturing moments. My first real experience was shooting a wedding, and from that day, I was hooked. Seeing how powerful a single photo can be—how it can freeze emotion, tell a story, and make someone feel something—made me realise this is what I’m meant to do. Since then, every shoot has been a step deeper into my purpose.
