This beautiful little boy just celebrated his first six months of life. I had the privilege to capture this moment and milestone for him and his family to glance back at it for a lifetime. This moment here speaks louder than any words ever can - pure joy!

How long has Marisa van der Walt loved photography:

For about 15 years

How they discovered their passion for photography:

As a teen, I waitered at a local coffee shop during school holidays and I saved my tips to buy my first small canon camera. I enjoyed taking photos of everything and everyone. I somewhere stopped along my school years.
It was about three years ago that I had this passion in my heart to start photography as a hobby again and bought myself another camera.

1. "The Master At Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master At Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master At Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Camera, A Premium Plaque and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master At Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master At Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Master At Photos Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
