About Mthokozisi Mncube 's work:
Photo Theme:
The rise of the tide
Photo Story:
The image is a powerful representation of a woman's journey, symbolizing resilience, strength, and growth. The woman stands confidently on the beach, dressed in a black gown, embodying both softness and strength. The presence of a child's chair beside her serves as a reminder of her past, evoking memories of innocence and dreams. The ocean behind her represents vast potential, emotion, and endurance, much like the woman herself. The image is a tribute to Women's Month, celebrating the journeys women undertake and their ability to rise above challenges, just like the tide.
How long has Mthokozisi Mncube loved photography:
3 years 6 months
How they discovered their passion for photography:
I discovered my photography passion back in 2022 when I bought my first camera, back then I was looking forward to start a photography business and quickly generate income through my photography, but it did not happen. So I started reading books about photography then I started to realize that photography is not about money and that where I started to develop feelings for my photography.
