The importance of femininity as the building blocks of humanity reimagined.

Photo Story:

It’s important to reinforce that women are a central part of society because of how often they are overlooked and undervalued. I wanted to give a reimagined approach to femininity by portraying it as tough and important. The styling of the model makes a statement by having nails in her hair, metal directly on her skin, dark lipgloss, and a leather jacket styled in such a way to show off some of her boob. All these elements speak to how tough women hood is while marrying them with normal feminine elements such as long hair, breasts, and make-up. By directing the model to look directly into the camera I achieved the look of her demanding attention and recognition.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

My father always had a digital camera when I was growing up to capture moments. I very soon took over the camera to capture memories with him and things that I found pleasing to the eye. As I grew up I was gifted with my own camera to take my craft seriously and experiment.
