About Haylé Ann Einkamerer's work:
Photo Theme:
This photo is centred on stillness in the middle of movement. It reflects a moment of quiet existence *of simply being* in a world that is constantly rushing. The swan becomes a symbol of calm, resilience, and inner peace, moving gently through its surroundings without any resistance.
Photo Story:
I took this photo during a time when I felt overwhelmed and disconnected from everything around me. I wasn’t looking to create art, I was just trying to breathe. When I noticed the swan, what struck me was how unbothered it seemed by the world around it. It wasn’t performing or demanding attention, it was simply present. Capturing that moment felt comforting, almost grounding. The photo became a reminder that peace doesn’t always come from change, sometimes it comes from learning how to exist quietly within the moment you’re in.
How long has Haylé Ann Einkamerer loved photography:
I don’t think my love for photography started at a specific time. It grew slowly, alongside my habit of observing the world a little more closely and feeling things on such a deeper level that not even the poets can understand. Over the years, photography became something gentle and personal for me, a way of holding onto moments that make me feel something, even if I don’t always have the words for them.
How they discovered their passion for photography:
I discovered my passion for photography when I began to understand how temporary and ephemeral everything is. Moments pass, light shifts, emotions change, and nothing ever looks or feels the same twice. Photography became my way of preserving those fleeting moments, like impressionist painters, almost like saving a nostalgic memory before it fades. There is something deeply beautiful about being able to capture a single instant in time and return to it later, remembering not just how it looked, but how it felt.
