They say the eyes are windows to the soul, but I’ve come to realize they are also archives of a life lived. I met this gentleman recently, and one look told me his eyes held chapters I haven’t even begun to read. There is a quiet strength in his gaze, a map of experiences sketched into his eyes. It was more than just a photo session; it was an honor to pause for a moment and capture a fragment of his story through my lens.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

My passion for photography was born out of a major life transition in 2021. Moving from the quiet, deep rural landscapes of KZN to the vibrant energy of Pretoria opened my eyes to a completely different world. I felt a sudden, urgent need to document the striking architecture and the diverse faces of the city. As I began capturing these sightings, I realized my work did more than just preserve a moment, it brought genuine joy to the people in the frames. Seeing that impact changed everything for me, and I haven't put my camera down since.

1. "The Master At Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master At Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master At Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Camera, A Premium Plaque and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master At Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master At Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Master At Photos Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
