About Ranashka Ramrattan's work:
Photo Theme:
Love that waited- my engagement
Photo Story:
My partner proposed to me after 7 years. I love creating stories and building memories. My ring signifies the battles we went through, the patience we had for each other through all the storms we endured. He surprised me with a proposal and he included my favorite flower- sunflowers. Capturing this picture signifies the 7 years of togetherness and everything we have been through together. He is not much of the romantic type and he does not express emotions as much but for my proposal, he went over and beyond. For me, the ring and the sunflower signifies patience, love, and light
How long has Ranashka Ramrattan loved photography:
I've had a passion for photography for many years now. I started exploring with my phone and then I realized I love capturing moments and storytelling
How they discovered their passion for photography:
It was many years ago when I started taking pictures with my phone. If you scroll down my Instagram page, you will see my taking pictures of nature, using props in the garden, water droplets etc. After discovering that I love playing around with light and composure to create stories, I've had the urge to get myself a camera even though I could not afford one at that time. I purchased my camera in 2022. I got nervous knowing there was so much I needed to know about Photography. It is not just about taking the perfect photo, it is about the story behind it. I eventually created a separate Instagram account called mintphotographybyran and I started posting my photos there.

I have started to enjoy composure and creating different themes using light.

The photo I upload was done on my office desk at home and an LED light
