My work is about experiences of being intersex and black.

Photo Story:

This image forms part of my ongoing body of work, Being Intersex. It reflects a pivotal moment in my life when I discovered that I was born intersex, in a room filled with close lesbian friends.

That moment marked a shift. I lost some of those friendships, and in that loss, I found unexpected acceptance among male friends I had grown up with.

The image captures my attempt to navigate belonging trying to fit in, to be seen, and to understand where I exist within spaces shaped by gender expectations. It speaks to the tension between identity and acceptance, and the quiet negotiation of self in the presence of others.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

2012 was When my hands touch a camera for the first time I was asked to help document behind the seen for a documentary. From then I have always been around cameras until I owed my very first.We still here shooting and telling stories.

1. "The Master At Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master At Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master At Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Camera, A Premium Plaque and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master At Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master At Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.
