About Jayden Babulal's work:
Photo Theme:
The Beauty Of God's Creation.
Photo Story:
This photo was captured from the beautiful landscapes of Drakensberg.

I remember feeling so depressed. It was so hard for me to smile, or to even enjoy a moment of my life. I had been stuck at home for 8 years because of unfortunate circumstances.

I honestly was left feeling that my life was wasting away. But my parents took us (My little brother, sister and I) on this trip to Drakensberg. A place I have always wanted to visit since a little boy, the accommodation we had was astonishing to say the least, you could see the infamous "Dragons Peak Mountain" right from the yard.

The property was massive, with so much beauty ready to be captured. So I took out my Samsung A35, and began my walk around the property capturing it's beauty. This specific photo was the one I remember looking at, and feeling so much peace. It was a reminder to me, that there is so much beauty in this world to see and explore. That even if I could just live a little longer to see more of what our Great God has made, I will leave this world happy. And for me, happiness is a treasure.

How long has Jayden Babulal loved photography:
4 Years
How they discovered their passion for photography:
My love for photography began when my Mom so genoriously got me a Samsung Note 20 for my 20th Birthday. I always had a good eye for things that looked good, but now when I was able to capture it, with amazing details it became so exciting.

I started to see the meaning behind photography. How we don't just capture "What looks good" but to capture memories, something that someone else can also look at and be reminded about how beautiful life can truly be.

And even though the phone only lasted 2 months. Lmao. It was amazing while it lasted, 3 years later, I received this Samsung A35, and sure the image quality is not as good as the Note 20 but I learnt that it's not about the device you use, but about the creativity and positivity of what you are able to capture using whatever you have.
