Tough day against the biggest rugby derby in Gauteng. Jeppe supporters lined the stands in their black and white blazer, smoke bombs, theatrics. The boys on the stands are truly encapsulate Jeppe Highschool for Boys motto, forti nihil difficilius (for the brave, nothing is too difficult). I wanted to capture the raw emotion of the people who pour the being into supporting the teams on the field.

How long has Aiden Gleeson loved photography:

I have loved photography since I was in primary school but have only been able to step into it in the past two years, now as a matric student I lobe photography because it allows me to capture moments and freeze them in time. As it is my last year in school I want to be able to look back at my photos and relive them, allowing for the memories to feel experienced again.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

My dad is my is my inspiration for photography, I shoot using his equipment from when he was in varsity (Canon 1100d eos). The equipment is old but works so it creates a sense of him being there taking the photos with me. He taught me that no matter the photo, there is always a story behind that someone can look back on and cherish
