About Lethabo 's work:
Photo Theme:

Photo Story:
This image captures Khanyi Mbau in a rare, quiet moment aboard a private jet, high above Cape Town. For me, it's a snapshot of Global Ambition: The Unseen Journey of a Modern Female Boss. It's not just about the luxury; it's about the drive and strategic thinking that define today's influential women. Khanyi, with her calm aesthetic and iconic style, embodies the power of building an empire that knows no borders. This photo reveals the personal side of her journey—the moments of reflection and preparation that fuel her public success, far from the traditional boardroom & women standards in private jets.
How long has Lethabo loved photography:
Ever since I was a young teenager, always taking pictures of everything around me. I started pursuing photography professionally six years ago
How they discovered their passion for photography:
My mother had a digital camera when I was young & it was my favourite item in the entire house. Growing up in the villages, I would go on top of Mountains & start taking pictures of the views. Everybody at home saw the young boy I was as a professional photographer, at family gatherings, events & outings, I was everyone's personal photographer. As I grew older, I decided to focus on this photgraphy thing & that's when things got serious, I had shoots around my town, people booking me & paying me. I was bringing money home, 6 years ago I decided to save up the money & come to joburg, I knew things were not going to be easy. I started taking pictures on the streets, the plan was simple, I would go to Sandton & start taking pictures of everyone not only for the money but to build a clientele & networks. That helped me alot & now I am trusted by some of the influential people in South Africa. I will never give up photography, it's my passion, & entering this competition is me pushing myself to the fullest & if I win this competition, it will also be a validation to my skills.
