Photo Theme:

The Photo is part of my recent collection called Mysa Longing - Paint with Rain. Its about capturing my surroundings during the quiet beautiful rain. Finding peace and beauty in simple surroundings.

Photo Story:

I've always wanted to be able to capture everyday life in the way that I see it. Little beautiful and artistic moments in our everyday surroundings. On this particular day, luckily it had been raining, and it just gave a mundane setting a new coat of life.

How long has Busisiwe Mnisi loved photography:

I've loved photography for 9 years now. I started capturing my surroundings with my phone, then later moved onto a camera my parents bought me, a Canon 1300d. And recently I got to briefly try out the Fujifilm x100vi, which is what captured this entry photo.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

My love for travel as a child alerted me to a growing urge to want to capture the beauty we were seeing. My parents were able enough to take us to Durban and Mpumalanga, and thats where I started capturing my surroundings using my phone. I hope to travel to more places in the future and capture more beautiful imagery to share with others.

1. "The Master At Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master At Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master At Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Camera, A Premium Plaque and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master At Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master At Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Master At Photos Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
