About Monica Fritz's work:
Photo Theme:
The love you can feel and see in their eyes
Photo Story:
I took this photo because I was drawn to the quiet connection between them. It wasn’t a posed moment or something planned it was simply a real moment where their love was easy to see.
The way they leaned into each other, the gentle smiles, and the peaceful feeling between them made me want to capture it before it passed. There was something so calm and genuine about the way they looked at each other. To me, this photo shows the kind of love that doesn’t need to be explained with words. You can feel the comfort, trust, and happiness they share just by looking at them. That’s what inspired me to take this photo the chance to capture a small, honest moment that says so much about the love between two people.
How long has Monica Fritz loved photography:
Since i was a little girl i would take photos of everything
How they discovered their passion for photography:
People often ask me why I chose photography.

The truth is… I didn’t choose it. It found me.

Out of everything I’ve ever tried, this is the one thing that makes me lose track of time. The one thing that never feels like work. The one thing that fills my heart in a way money never could.

This photo was taken on my Canon 1100D. It’s an old camera. It’s not mirrorless. It doesn’t have the newest technology or the sharpest autofocus. But it reminds me every single day that it’s not always about the camera—it’s about the person behind it.

Photography is one of the most expensive industries to get into. Every lens, memory card, battery, editing software, and piece of equipment comes with a price tag. There were moments when I wondered if I should wait until I could afford something better.

Instead… I held my breath and bought the camera I could afford.

And I haven’t looked back.

Of course, I dream of the day I can finally own a mirrorless camera. It’s a goal I’m working towards, and I know it will come one day. But until then, I’ll keep creating with what I have.

Because passion doesn’t wait for perfect equipment.

Every photo I take tells a story. Every couple I photograph trusts me with memories they’ll keep forever. That means more to me than the camera hanging around my neck.

This journey has taught me that you don’t need the most expensive gear to create something beautiful. You just need heart, dedication, and the willingness to keep learning.

Photography isn’t just my hobby anymore.

It’s the only thing I’ve ever loved so deeply that, even if there were no money in it, I’d still be out here chasing sunsets, capturing laughter, freezing moments that would otherwise be forgotten.

And that’s how I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.
