Photo Story:

This photo was inspired by the beauty of new beginnings. As I photographed a graduate celebrating years of hard work and perseverance, I realized I was also capturing the beginning of my own journey as a photographer. Her achievement reminded me that every dream starts with a single step. I wanted this image to reflect hope, resilience, and the excitement of stepping into a new chapter.

How long has Dikeledi Chelopo loved photography:

I have loved photography for 11 years. My passion for photography truly began in Grade 10, in 2015. From then on, I was eager to learn, but I didn’t always have the opportunity to pursue it. Instead of waiting for the perfect moment, I decided to create my own opportunity this year.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

My passion for photography was inspired by my dad, who was a photographer. Watching him sparked my interest, and by Grade 10 I knew I wanted to tell stories and preserve memories through my own lens.

1. "The Master At Photos Contest" is a Competition fully sponsored by The Next Star Talent Hunt, a product of Balloon Technologies SA LTD. An Organization acting in compliance with International laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. It is an Online Talent Competition, which finds its operandi similar to other talent competitions like the America Got Talent show, The Big Brother Africa, MTN Project fame among others.

3. Registration to Participate in "The Master At Photos Contest" is Completely FREE. Note this.

4. Like in every other Contest, "The Master At Photos Contest" enshrines prizes for Its Winners.

1st Position: A Brand New Camera, A Premium Plaque and a Monetary award of R20,000 (Twenty Thousand Rand only)

2nd Position: A Monetary award of R4,000 (Four Thousand Rand only)

3rd position: A Monetary award of R2,000 (Two Thousand Rand only)

5. Winners of "The Master At Photos Contest" are selected by a Simple-Majority Voting system.

6. The Voting system entails a transparent form of anyone visiting a contestant voting link and then voting for them. 1 vote is R7 (Seven Rands only). And anyone can vote for a contestant as much times as possible.

7. Payment made as Vote on any Contestant (while in contest and afterwards) would not be refunded.

8. In the Policy of enjoining Transparency, Live updates on scores of each Contestant, are made Public and available on the Contest’s website via https://masteratphotos.co.za/contest - coupled with personalized mails and text messages forwarded to each contestant daily.

9. As by Law, Participation in "The Master At Photos Contest" is completely Voluntary and Contestant can discontinue at anytime, with the Caveat of Votes counted, being lost and not refunded.

10. "The Master At Photos Contest" acts in Good faith in Accordance with International Laws and the Laws of the Republic of South Africa.
