Photo Story:

In a world that constantly asks us to be louder, faster, and bigger, this tiny moment reminded me that there is beauty in simply existing. The monkey perched on a rock, beneath the shadows shows quiet resilience. We usually know monkeys to be playful , wild, and sometimes aggressive. But, capturing this image shows that they can be peaceful too.

At first I thought about increasing the exposure to make it less gloomy, however while editing I remembered that silence is not always bright. I never crop the image, because the loneliness has room to breathe.

I really captured a moment that goes unnoticed.

How long has Salmaan khan loved photography:

I loved photography since forever. You could say my passion for photography grew from 2022 as that’s when I got my first camera.

How they discovered their passion for photography:

I’ve always been an artsy kid. Whether it was taking photos on the blackberry, making short films with my friends on a digital recorder. While others were into playing sports, I was interested in something more. My dad had this small digital camera, so I grew up taking photos on that, I just loved taking pictures of even the smallest moment. Later on I moved to Polaroid shots, which just made photography so much more fun. only in 2022 I got my first camera, which was a canon Sx530. Even though I was a complete amateur, my cousin trusted me to take pictures for his wedding. It was my first time shooting a wedding , and professionally at that. I was nervous , but seeing how photos connects people , seeing their smiles and what joy it brings each person. Just made my love for photography grow more.
